Super typhoon!! Jesus protect all the hit Islands Please pray for Gary Haskett, he went on hospice today. Pray for comfort for him and his family. Give thanks and prayer for the Caribbean Nazarene College in Trinidad that serves to prepare the Mesoamerica Region for ministry. Thank God that the hurricane season has not impacted Trinidad and Tobago in significant ways. Give praise to God for various initiatives for planting churches which have been accepted in this part of the Mesoamerica Region. Pray for the leadership transitions in Trinidad and Tobago, and their victories over spiritual attacks. Pray for the new missionary family in Providenciales, in Turks and Caicos. Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on them. Pray that the Lord will provide the "ideal" land for the first Nazarene church in Turks and Caicos. Pray that the Lord will guide relevant and effective ministries in the tourist driven economy of Turks and Caicos. I just found out my Sister Kathy is suffering from Alzheimer's. She can't remember anything past 10 minutes. She lives in Beaufort, South Carolina. I feel so bad that I'm so far away. Her Step Daughter is in Charleston which is an hour and 45 minutes away, takes care of her. She has a Slot set up for her at a assisted living home which is 10 minutes away from where she lives in Charleston. So that means that they're going to have to pack up Kathy's house in Buford and put it up for sale. The sale of the house should pay for the assisted living home for about 3 years also on the site they have a memory care unit so when her memory gets so bad they will be able to just move her to the other facility. I need prayer for my sister and for my niece Stephanie that all this goes smoothly and that they can get this happening soon they took the keys away from my sister she's not allowed to drive she's lived in Beaufort for over 45 years and she got lost coming home. Please pray that this happened soon she cannot be in Beaufort by yourself. Thank you Praise the Lord for five new churches that were organized in the Philippines within a month’s time. This church growth is significant in light of the current pandemic and the challenge of meeting for public worship. One church’s organization took place in the midst of a rainstorm, which did not stop the celebration. Pray for these new congregations to remain strong witnesses for holiness in their communities. Update on Kidnapped Missionaries in Haiti
The latest report is that two of the 17 missionaries kidnapped by a terrorist gang more than a month ago have been released. According to the Christian Aid Ministries, the missionaries’ organization, the two people are “in good spirits and being cared for.” The kidnappers have demanded $1 million dollars for each person—12 adults and 5 children. Continue to pray for the victims’ safety and for their safe release. Also pray that the Spirit of God will work in the hearts of the kidnappers that will lead to their salvation.
Pray for missionaries Jeremy and Lynette Page as they prepare to move from Thailand to the Sealands Field to a country that is one of our secure nations for Nazarene missions work. Pray the God will open the doors for the Pages to make this anticipated transition soon. Please pray for Sheila Gerhard who will having surgery. Pray for healing and comfort. Please pray for Gary Haskett. He is not feeling well and struggling to breath. Please pray for Don & Pat Cullum and family. Don's father passed away. Pray for comfort from the grief that is so heartbreaking for the family. Give thanks to God that Tanzania will have more than 10 ordinands and four new churches in the three district at the next district assembly. Rev. Friday Ganda said "We are thankful for the team of three district superintendents in Tanzania". Uganda has four districts with new churches. Give thanks to God that those preparing for ministry have been able to continue their training during the pandemic, new ordinands will be presented at the next Ugandan assembly. Pray that church leaders will be unified and energized across Tanzania. Pray for peace and stability
